Hey Friend—I'm Kellie.
I'm so glad you're here.
If we were sitting together over coffee, chances are we'd end up talking about faith, family, books, homeschooling, and all the little ways God meets us in everyday life. We'd probably squirrel a little, laugh a lot, and maybe even cry together.
I'm married to my husband, Michael, and together we're raising three incredible teenagers. Life around here is full of homeschooling, ministry, big dreams, lots of coffee, and learning to trust God one day at a time.
One thing you'll quickly discover about me is that I love creating.
Whether it's a Bible journal, a curriculum adventure, a teacher guide, a devotion, or simply finding a new way to make learning more meaningful, creating has always been one of the ways God has wired me.
I've never had a perfectly mapped-out plan for any of this.
I've simply tried to be obedient to the next thing God placed in front of me.
Looking back, I can see that He was writing a much bigger story than I ever imagined.
⬆️ The Story Behind Level Up
Long before there was Bible & Bloom, I discovered something about myself.
I loved creating learning experiences that made kids excited to learn.
Whether I was planning a class, designing a hands-on activity, or turning an ordinary lesson into an adventure, I found myself constantly asking,
"How can I make this unforgettable?"
That passion eventually led me to found Level Up Homeschool Co-op, a community built on the belief that learning should be engaging, creative, and full of curiosity.
As our co-op grew, so did my love for creating curriculum.
Every class became an opportunity to imagine something new.
Every lesson became a chance to make learning a little more meaningful.
Without even realizing it, I wasn't just creating classes anymore—I was building curriculum.
Today, Level Up Curriculum is a natural extension of that journey.
The same ideas, creativity, and heart that have shaped our co-op are now becoming resources I hope will serve homeschool families, co-ops, classrooms, and curious learners everywhere.
My hope is simple.
That every lesson sparks curiosity.
Every activity creates connection.
And every child discovers that learning can be joyful.
🌸 Then God Wrote a New Chapter
When I was baptized, my husband gave me the most beautiful Bible.
It was already incredibly special to me, but before I took it home, I had an idea.
I began passing it around our church.
Pastors.
Friends.
Students.
Leaders.
Family.
Instead of simply signing their names, I asked each person to choose a favorite Bible verse, write a prayer, leave a note of encouragement, or even draw something that reminded them of God's faithfulness.
There were no rules.
Only love.
When I finally held that Bible in my hands, it had become so much more than a gift.
It had become a story.
A reminder that faith grows best in community and that God's Word has a beautiful way of connecting us.
That Bible remains one of my greatest treasures.
And it's the reason Bible & Bloom exists today.
🌸 Why Bible & Bloom?
Because I believe opening your Bible shouldn't feel overwhelming.
I want it to feel inviting.
Peaceful.
Joyful.
Whether you're opening God's Word for the very first time or you've been studying it for decades, my prayer is that everything we create points you back to Jesus and reminds you that spending time in His Word is never wasted.
Bible & Bloom exists to encourage hearts through books, journals, devotionals, and simple resources that help make time with God feel approachable and life-giving.
